AHA branched to Guinea in 2004 with determination for growth. It launched its first medical, shelter and logistic assistance to evacuated and urban refugees in Conakry that constituted of 4,500 people from West Africa.
AHA provided health care to urban refugees in Conakry, coordination of referral cases, camp management and community services, micro-finance, primary education for refugees from Sierra Leone and Liberia.
The programme was implemented in N’zerekore, kissidougou and Gbessia location.
